This is a small white sand cove located in the municipality of Guía de Isora, in the south of Tenerife, virtually unknown to the locals, it began to be talked about after the Abama Hotel was built.
If you're looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind, Playa de Abama is the ideal spot. Situated next to the luxury Ritz Carlton Beach Resort, this golden sand cove with calm waters, ensures tranquility and rest. Already at the top of the viewpoint, you are immediately captivated by its sight: crystal clear water, fine sand, as well as natural pools invite you to take a dip. An elevator (for hotel guests only) and stairs lead to the beach. Nestled next to a cliff crowned by banana trees, this shell-shaped beach is the perfect place to enjoy unforgettable sunsets with the Island of Gomera on the horizon. On the beach there are sunbeds, a bar and a restaurant. The bay has calm waves, is protected and safe, with a breakwater to stop the onslaught of the sea. It poses no risk, so it is ideal for families.
To get there, it is necessary to park the car in the hotel parking and walk along a street that runs between the banana plantation and the hotel facilities, in less than 10 minutes you will arrive right at the cliff overlooking the sea and from there you have to go down with stairs to the beach. There is also the possibility to go down with the car just to drop off passengers or bags and return to leave the vehicle in the parking.
